Banaue

Nestled within the rugged Cordillera ranges in Central Philippines, the rice terraces reach up to heights of 1,500 meters. Aside from the awesome spectacle, Banaue has other attractions. One of these and perhaps the most important is the opportunity to meet the Ifugaos and get a glimpse of their culture which has survived the incursions of colonizers, Christian missionaries and lowland Filipinos. Traveling time is approximately eight (8) hours by car from Manila.


Bohol

An oval-shaped island southeast of Manila. Bohol has a unique attraction called the Chocolate Hills- uniformly shaped hills about 30-50 meters in height, which resemble chocolate bonbons during the dry season. Bohol is noted for its centuries-old churches, baskets, hand-crafted knives and Panglao Island, one of the Philippines' dive spots. Many of its visitors have discovered its white sandy beaches and the clear waters which offer excellent view. Bohol is also known for its mini-forests where the smallest and oldest known primate, the tarsier, can be found. Flying time is approximately one (1) hour and fifteen minutes.

Boracay

Long stretches of powdery white sand, crystal clear waters and casual, carefree lifestyle combined to make Boracay the most famous island in the Philippines. A wide range of resorts are available, all of which offer a warm welcome. Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines fly to Kalibo daily. Flying time is 55 minutes plus an hour and a half bus ride to Caticlan port, and 20 minutes boatride to Boracay Island. Asian Spirit and Seair fly to Caticlan daily, then a 5-minute pedicab to the port and 20 minutes boatride to the island.


Cebu

The province 562 kilometers south of Manila is the international gateway to the Visayas region. Its capital, Cebu City, is known as the "Queen City of the South", and is famous for mangoes, guitars, and resorts. Accommodations in Cebu vary widely from first class and deluxe hotels and resorts to inns and pension houses. Flying time is approximately one (1) hour and ten minutes. Domestic airlines that service Cebu are Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Air Philippines. Cebu is also accessible through international flights from Hongkong, Bangkok, Singapore and Seoul.

Davao

Davao City lies at the southern part of the Philippines. It is close to mountain ranges and forests. It has a year-round wild and pleasant climate with no pronounced dry or rainy season. Davao is the home of the Philippine Eafgle the tallest, rarest, largest and most powerful birds in the world. It also abounds in exotic fruits, rare orchids, excellent brassware and challenging golf courses.

Palawan

Palawan province, consisting of a main island with many small islands around it, has been called the "Philippines' last frontier" for it still has a few unspoiled spots. Uninhabited islets with white coral sand beaches, clear waters teeming with fish, native tribes, forests with unique flora and fauna make Palawan attractive to people fleeing civilization. Thanks to small resorts accessible only by small aircraft or by boat, Palawan is able to preserve its pristine nature. Flying time is approximately one (1) hour and ten minutes. Philippine Airlines, Air Philippines, and Cebu Pacific fly daily to Puerto Princesa City.


Puerto Galera

A few hours away by bus and ferry boat is Puerto Galera, a small village by the sea whose surrounding waters have been declared a marina sanctuary by the government. Apart from its beautiful harbor and the wealth of its underwater gardens, equally attractive are its forests and an opportunity to visit their native villages. Traveling time is approximately five (5) hours by bus and boat from Manila.
